FF Dingbats 2.0
The original FF Dingbats font package was designed in 1993. At that time, there were no symbol font available on the market, except for Zapf Dingbats, whose design dated from the 1970s.
In 2007, Johannes Erler and Henning Skibbe started a complete redesign of the FF Dingbats. Now all of the pictograms have been revised and adjusted according to the latest stylistic vocabulary. All symbols have been sorted into clear categories, and the font »Strong Forms« includes the most needed symbols in a bolder version.
Aside from this, many of the symbols may be layered and colored via an easy-to-use layering feature – just see the FF Dingbats 2.0 Info Guide PDF. The FF Dingbats 2.0 are a state-of-the-art font package, and are probably the largest collection of contemporary symbols and icons for office communication, too.
